Since 1997, Brent Gove has been successfully selling real estate in the Sacramento area, following the example set by his parents, both long-time real estate agents. He and his team now sell hundreds of homes annually, within the Sacramento, Placer, and El Dorado counties. In addition, if you need help with a property out of the area, Brent will refer you to the top Re/Max professional in that location, ensuring that you will receive the same level of quality and service that he himself would provide.
Though he started out as a one-man show, Brent started building a full-service team of agents and staff in 2000 to meet the needs of his clients.
n In 2002, with nine agents & two full-time assistants, the team sold 129 homes.
n In 2003, with 15 agents & four full-time assistants, the team sold 172 homes.
n In 2004, with 24 agents, the team sold 348 homes.
n In 2005, with 29 agents, the team sold 389 homes!
n This year, with almost 31 agents & 5 full time assistants, the team is on track to sell 450 homes!
n Future plans include growing to over 100 agents, selling over 1 billion dollars a year.
This growth made Brent Gove and his team the #4 team in the Re/Max California/Hawaii region (out of 10,000 agents), and the #23 team for RE/MAX Worldwide (out of 100,000+ agents). The extraordinary growth of the team has inspired them to help others. Last year, they raised over $30,000 to build an orphanage outside of Lima, Peru, and plan to build more throughout South America.
Says Brent: “By building a team, my agents and I can focus solely on the buying and selling of homes, while our staff focuses on the administrative details involved in each transaction. In addition, we can come together and brainstorm when we face challenges, and of course, encourage the integrity and character of each agent.”
Outside of the office, Brent and his wife have five children, and he is active in coaching his kids’ soccer teams. The family loves to travel, and Brent is an avid golfer.
“Yes, real estate is a phenomenal investment,” says Brent, “and even if you invest elsewhere, the first thing anyone will want for collateral is your home, so purchasing a home is key for your financial future.”
“But my favorite thing is helping a first-time homebuyer, and the sense of satisfaction that comes when I hand them the key to their new home. I guess real estate is in my blood.”
